The Joint Commission, Federal and State Regulations Compliance and Survey Report

  • Comprehensive Pharmacy Services has extensive experience in regulatory standards compliance.
  • A large database of surveyor questions and areas of focus is distributed to our pharmacists in regular intervals.
  • CPS circulates newsletters and other information pertaining to the latest standards.
  • Comprehensive Pharmacy Services dispatches a group of experts to comprehensively assess the readiness of each client hospital and develop an action plan to address any identified deficiencies in preparation for an unannounced survey.
  • On-site presence during the actual survey to assist the Director, the Department and the Hospital through the process.


CPS' Quality Initiatives

Drug Information Center

  • A collaborative effort between Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and Western University School of Pharmacy.
  • Available exclusively for CPS and WU affiliates.
  • Also distributes information about new drugs and therapy via email to its participants.

 


Comprehensive Staff Education and Competency Program

  • CPS extends a proprietary series of targeted clinical education programs called the Accelerated Clinical Skills Program (ACSP) to all pharmacy staff.
  • ACSP addresses all areas of clinical pharmacy practice, from patient assessment skills to specific disease management.
  • ACSP is a dynamic program that is continuously updated and expanded based on the input of our pharmacists and practice trends.
  • A comprehensive database of competency standards is available for use by the client facility.

Hospital Staff In-Services

  • An extensive network of speakers and programs that can be customized to the needs of the individual client hospital.

 

Benchmarking Programs

  • Quarterly publication of targeted, internal benchmark data for review by the client facilities.
